MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police need your help identifying a suspect accused of stealing more than $600 worth of merchandise from Ulta Beauty on Falls Parkway on Saturday, July 14.Police said it happened around 8:30 at the store near I-41/45 and Pilgrim.According to police, the suspect placed items into a large, white handbag on her shoulder and left the store without paying -- exiting with $674 worth of merchandise.The suspect is described as a woman in her 30s, standing 5'5" to 5'8" tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds with brown hair.She fled the store in a dark, four-door Jeep-type vehicle with unknown license plate number.Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Police: 6-year-old boy dies after he was struck by truck while riding his bike in Waukesha

WAUKESHA -- A 6-year-old boy died after he was hit by a pickup truck while riding his bike on Saturday night, July 14.Numerous 911 phone calls came in reporting the crash near the intersection of Racine Avenue and Cheviot Chase around 9:30 p.m.According to police, officials found a pickup truck that had struck a bicyclist.The bicyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injures and later died, despite life-saving efforts.

3-year-old boy dies, 2 adults hurt after vehicle struck tree in Pewaukee

PEWAUKEE -- A 3-year-old boy died and two adults were injured after a vehicle struck a tree in Pewaukee early Sunday morning, July 15.It happened just before 6 a.m. on Prospect Avenue at Rocky Point Road.According to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Prospect Avenue and left the roadway near Rocky Point Road -- striking the tree.PHOTO GALLERYThe 25-year-old man who was driving and a 24-year-old woman who was a passenger were taken to hospitals with injuries.The 3-year-old boy was taken to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, but died due to his injuries.This crash remains under investigation.

BROOKFIELD -- Brookfield police need your help identifying a suspect accused of trying to take a picture of a woman in a fitting room at H&M at Brookfield Square Mall on Saturday, June 30.He's wanted in connection with a disorderly conduct complaint.Police said the woman was changing in the fitting room at H&M before 11:30 a.m. when the man tried to reach over the top of the fitting room with his phone while in the fitting room next to her.The woman stated that she believed the suspect had been following her through the store prior to entering the fitting room.

Menomonee Falls police cancel alert after identifying Piggly Wiggly theft suspects

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police have canceled an alert asking for the public's help to identify suspects who allegedly stole merchandise from a Piggly Wiggly store.According to police, the suspects have been identified.On Sunday, June 24 three suspects entered the Piggly Wiggly on Appleton Avenue, grabbed liquor and other items, and left without paying.Officials say one of the suspects, a 42-year-old man, returned to the store later that same day, and taken into custody after being recognized by employees.A fourth suspect, a 52-year-old man, was detained in the parking lot and arrested on warrants.Police have released photos of the two remaining suspects.
