WAUKESHA -- Waukesha police were able to identify a female they found Monday morning, Aug. 13 -- with help from the public.Police said the female who is non-verbal and has developmental disabilities was found around 10 a.m. in the Springdale Apartment Complex near Springdale and Bluemound.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Police are investigating a crash involving a dump truck that happened Thursday afternoon, Aug. 9.It happened around 10:45 a.m. on Menomonee Avenue near Lannon Road.According to police, the dump truck driver reported that he lost control after he veered to avoid an animal in the road.

Home surveillance captures person trespassing outside Waukesha home

WAUKESHA -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify a person believed to be trespassing in a Waukesha neighborhood.Home surveillance video captured the person approach a home in Waukesha.The person can be seen checking the locks on the front doors, and then is seen walking away around the side of the house.

49-year-old Milwaukee man killed when truck hit median wall on I-94 WB in Brookfield

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- A 49-year-old Milwaukee man was killed when a SUV crashed into the median wall on I-94 westbound in the City of Brookfield.According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department, a red GMC SUV struck the median wall near Calhoun Road around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7.The driver, a 49-year-old Milwaukee man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Missing teen found: Authorities locate Teresa Beltran of Pewaukee

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- Officials with the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department said Sunday, Aug. 5 Teresa Beltran, who had been missing since July 31, was located.There was concerns after Beltran was believed to have voluntarily run away from her home in Pewaukee.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police need your help identifying three suspects accused of stealing more than $15,000 worth of tools from two trucks at Capital Heating and Cooling.The thefts happened on Sunday evening, July 29 -- around 4:30 p.m. at the business located near the intersection of Lilly and Hampton.Police say the suspects stole approximately $15,898 worth of tools from two trucks at the business.The suspects have been described as follows:Suspect #1: Male, black, between the ages of 45 and 50, standing approximately 5'10" to 6' tall, wearing dark pants, a blue shirt with an Italian flag logo and a blue fishing-style hat.Suspect #2: Male, black, between the ages of 35 and 45, standing approximately 6' to 6'2" tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds, with long dread locks, wearing brown boots, dark pants and a white T-shirt.Suspect #3: Male, black, between the ages of 45 and 55, standing approximately 5'10" tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds, wearing a white and blue hat, white sneakers, tan shorts and a white shirt.

Bond lowered for Pewaukee father accused in death of 3-year-old son; tests reveal no alcohol in his system

PEWAUKEE -- A man charged in connection with a crash that killed his 3-year-old son was in court Thursday, July 26 for a preliminary hearing, which was adjourned.It was adjourned because the state is waiting for further test results to come back, after it was determined there was apparently no alcohol in Nicholas Dischler's system at the time of the crash.The 25-year-old father's bond was amended from $50,000 to $5,000, which was posted, and a hearing was set for Aug. 27.The crash happened on July 15, shortly before 6 a.m. at Prospect and Rocky Point Road in Pewaukee, where prosecutors say the vehicle Dischler was driving struck the tree.

Man prosecutors say admitted to shooting driver after road rage incident sentenced to prison

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- A man prosecutors say admitted to firing his handgun after a road rage incident in October of 2017 has been sentenced to prison.Joshua Becker, 34, of Hartland, in May pleaded no contest and was convicted on two counts -- first degree reckless injury and carrying a concealed weapon.In court on Monday, July 23, Becker was sentenced to serve two years in prison and three years extended supervision on the reckless injury conviction and 9 months in the Waukesha County Jail on the carrying a concealed weapon conviction.

Police: District attorney to review case after 6-year-old boy, his mother, struck by pickup in Waukesha

WAUKESHA -- Waukesha police said Tuesday, July 17 the Waukesha County district attorney will review the case involving a 6-year-old boy who was struck by a pickup truck and killed near Racine and Cheviot Chase on Saturday night, July 14 for possible charges.Police said Tuesday they've learned the boy and his family were walking back to their home from Dairy Queen when the boy and his mother were struck by the pickup truck as they crossed the street.
