Waukesha police search for Meijer theft suspect

WAUKESHA -- Police are looking to find a suspect involved in a theft from the Meijer store in Waukesha.The Waukesha Police Department shared photos of the suspect on their Facebook page Wednesday, February 14th.The suspect appears to be a black male with a full beard.

Lamp stolen from Waukesha Co. antiques show similar to lamp that sold for $10K

WAUKESHA -- Waukesha County sheriff's officials have reached out to the public for help finding a lamp.The Tiffany Studios Scarab Lamp is nine inches tall with a five-inch diameter base.It was stolen from a Wisconsin antiques show in Waukesha County.Experts say a similar lamp recently sold for $10,000.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department.

Recognize him? Police want to ID man they say is passing counterfeit checks

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Police are asking for help to identify a man who they say is using the bank account information of a Menomonee Falls woman to pass counterfeit checks.Officials say the individual passed various counterfeit checks in Onalaska, Mauston, Sturtevant, and Baraboo -- on the western side of the state.

'I'll give you a couple hundreds:' Man accused of enticing girl, 15, to have sex with him

MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man is accused of enticing an underage girl to have sex with him at a home in Waukesha.Duane Brown, 58, of Milwaukee faces one count of child enticement.According to a criminal complaint, in October, police learned a child at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin was complaining that an older man had enticed her to have sex with him when she was 15 years old.Prosecutors say Brown told the girl "I know you like me" and "we can be together," going on to say "I'll give you a couple hundreds if that's what you need."The victim told investigators she smelled alcohol on Brown's breath as he said "I don't want nothing but sex."The complaint says investigators spoke with Brown in late October.

Police look to ID man who stole over $200 worth of merchandise from Pick 'n Save

BROOKFIELD --  Brookfield police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man they say stole over $200 worth of merchandise from the Pick 'n Save store located on Capitol Drive.According to police, around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30 a male suspected took approximately $224.96 worth of Tide Pods, Dove body wash, and Secret deodorant from Pick 'n Save.The suspect left the store in a tan or silver minivan with a partial plate of 447.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police are asking for your help to identify a person they say drove away from a Kwik Trip gas station without paying for fuel that was pumped.Officials say the theft of gas happened just after 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 29 at the Kwik Trip on Silver Spring in Menomonee Falls.

Fresh snowfall leads to multiple crashes, at least 2 jackknifed semis

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- Fresh snowfall Saturday, Feb. 3 into Sunday, Feb. 4 made for some tough driving conditions Sunday morning and afternoon.On I-94 westbound near Elmhurst in Waukesha County around 11 a.m. Sunday, a semi jackknifed across all lanes of traffic, causing major backups.Lanes were closed for about an hour as crews worked to clear the scene.No injuries were reported.

24-year-old Milwaukee man shot, killed following dispute in Menomonee Falls; suspect at large

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened near Pilgrim Road and Megal Court in Menomonee Falls on Friday evening, January 26th.The call to officials came in around 4:20 p.m.According to Menomonee Falls police, there had been a dispute between two drivers who knew each other which resulted in a shooting.A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.
