ATF offers $5K reward for information after 2 explosions in New Berlin

NEW BERLIN -- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has offered a $5,000 reward for information related to "recent explosions" that led to the closure of Coffee Road and Woelfel Road beginning late Monday afternoon, Sept. 17.ATF officials said investigators are looking into two explosions that happened on Coffee near Woelfel.

Man who led deputy on pursuit with infant, 16-year-old passengers sentenced to jail

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- A Milwaukee man accused of leading a sheriff's deputy on a pursuit on I-94, reaching speeds "well above 100 miles-per-hour" with passengers, a 16-year-old girl and an infant, has been sentenced.Edwin Sosa-Santos, 19, in June pleaded no contest to one count of vehicle operator flee/elude officer.

Prosecutors: Man accused in hit-and-run was drinking beforehand; said he hit 'a deer or something'

VILLAGE OF MERTON -- Charges have been filed in connection with a hit-and-run crash that happened Friday night, Sept. 7 in the Village of Merton in Waukesha County, injuring a man and woman who were inside the vehicle he's accused of hitting.Jesse Zellmer, 40, of Colgate faces two counts of hit-and-run, great bodily harm and two counts of intoxicated use of a vehicle, great bodily harm.

Brookfield police: Man attempted to use stolen credit cards to buy Macbooks from Best Buy

BROOKFIELD -- Brookfield police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who allegedly attempted to use stolen credit cards to buy Macbook computers from Best Buy in Wauwatosa.Police say the credit cards were stolen from the Panera Bread located on West Greenfield Avenue on Saturday, Sept. 1.According to police, the suspect then attempted to use the credit cards to buy two Macbook computers worth $5,700 from the Best Buy in Wauwatosa.Police describe the suspect as a male, Hispanic, 30-40 years old, average height, slightly overweight, with a goatee.

Waukesha County officials respond to boat fire on Okauchee Lake

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- Waukesha County officials responded to a boat engulfed in flames on Okauchee Lake on Saturday, Aug. 25.It happened around 12:30 p.m.Officials tell FOX6 News, the vessel was on fire on the southern portion of the lake.The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department says Stone Bank and Okauchee Fire Departments helped put out the flames.No injuries were reported.The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

WAUKESHA -- Waukesha police were able to identify a female they found Monday morning, Aug. 13 -- with help from the public.Police said the female who is non-verbal and has developmental disabilities was found around 10 a.m. in the Springdale Apartment Complex near Springdale and Bluemound.
