MENOMONEE FALLS -- Following a request for public assistance Saturday, March 21, the Menomonee Falls Police Department has identified a suspect wanted for credit card fraud.The fraud happened at a Domino's Pizza on Thursday, March 19 around 6 p.m. Police say a suspect used a stolen credit number online to make a purchase.The investigation remains ongoing.

Waukesha teen faces homicide charge in connection to negligent driving death

WAUKESHA -- An 18-year-old Waukesha man has been charged with homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle.According to a criminal complaint, Daniel Lazaro was driving a van at Minooka County Park in the Town of Waukesha on June 9, 2019 with another person riding on the outside of the van.

Waukesha police: 66-year-old woman carjacked while loading groceries at Metro Market

WAUKESHA -- Waukesha police said a 66-year-old woman was carjacked while loading groceries into her trunk at the Metro Market on Silvernail Road on Wednesday, March 4 around 1:30 p.m. Two boys, ages 15 and 16 were arrested.Police said the victim indicated a black SUV pulled up behind her and a black male jumped out of it -- forcefully grabbing her keys.The victim chased him around her car as another black male jumped out of the black SUV and into the victim’s car.The original male then jumped into the driver’s seat and sped off.The victim was startled, but unhurt.A deputy on I-94 spotted the victim’s vehicle headed eastbound near the county line.

Waukesha police: Convicted sex offender will live at home on Pewaukee Road upon release

WAUKESHA -- Waukesha police on Monday, Feb. 24 announced the scheduled Tuesday release of a convicted sex offender who will live in a home on Pewaukee Road.Police said Julian Andersen, 49, was convicted in 1996 of three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child after repeatedly sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl left in his care.Andersen was described as white, standing 6'3" tall, weighing 200 pounds, with gray hair and a balding/shaved head.

Menomonee Falls police seek men who stole from YMCA lockers

MENOMONEE FALLS -- The Menomonee Falls Police Department asked for help identifying men involved in stealing from lockers at an area YMCA.Police said the men went into the men's locker room at the YMCA on Menomonee Avenue and stole from two lockers on Jan. 30.
