OAK CREEK -- Police flagged a potential hazardous materials situation when they came upon a van filled with 15 plastic drums of fuel -- roughly 300 gallons -- at the Kwik Trip gas station near 13th Street and Ryan Road in Oak Creek on Jan. 29.A Wisconsin State Patrol motor carrier inspector was called to the gas station around 9:30 p.m., where the van was located.

4 years in prison for Oak Creek man convicted of sexually assaulting 15-year-old girl

MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- An Oak Creek man on Monday, June 10 pleaded guilty in connection with the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl.Paul Rogers, 22, entered the plea to an amended charge of third degree sexual assault.Rogers was then sentenced to serve four years in prison and three years' extended supervision, with credit for 308 days' time served.According to the criminal complaint, police were called on Aug. 5, 2018 to investigate a sexual assault complaint.
