Waukesha Co. sheriff: Driver attempts to flee 2-vehicle crash scene in Pewaukee

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- Deputies in Waukesha County are investigating a two-vehicle crash that happened on Saturday, Feb. 9 in Pewaukee.Officials say the crash occurred near Golf Road and Elmhurst Road, near the Western Lakes Golf Course.According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department, one driver got out of the car after the crash and started to run off but deputies were able to track that driver down.Deputies say they'll release more information on Monday, Feb. 11.

Caught on camera: Suspect steals 2 rolls of aluminum from New Berlin home

NEW BERLIN --  The New Berlin Police Department is asking the community for assistance in identifying a suspect who stole two rolls of aluminum from a home on Saturday, Jan. 21.Police say a window company was working on the house and supplies were in the driveway.

Menomonee Falls officer who shot suspect after pursuit cleared of any wrongdoing

MENOMONEE FALLS -- The Waukesha County District Attorney's Office has cleared of any wrongdoing the Menomonee Falls police officer who shot and wounded a man after a police pursuit.The suspect in this case, Devon Evans, was suspected of driving off without paying for gas at a Menomonee Falls gas station on Nov. 6, 2018.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Police need your help identifying a suspect accused of stealing a PlayStation gaming system from Target -- leaving the store without paying.It happened on Wednesday, Jan. 16 around 9:15 a.m. at the Target store on Shady Lane.Police said the suspect entered the store and selected the PlayStation Pro 4 -- driving away from the store in a black or gray crossover style vehicle with unknown license plates.According to police, it is believed the same man committed a similar theft at the Target store in Grafton a week later, on Jan. 23.Anyone with information is asked to please contact police.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- The Menomonee Falls Police Department arrested three people believed to be involved with a retail theft that occurred at Target on Jan. 16.Three suspects arrived at the Target in the same vehicle around 4:30 p.m. -- and entered the store separately.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Police need your help identifying a suspect accused of stealing merchandise from Walgreens on Appleton Avenue in Menomonee Falls.It happened on Tuesday, Jan. 8, just before 7 p.m.Police said the suspect stole $54.50 worth of items from the Walgreens store, including a Propel brand drone, two packs of Newport cigarettes and a Monster energy drink.His driver's license was scanned, and showed a birthdate of Oct. 6, 1967.Police described the suspect as a man, black, between the ages of 50 and 55, with a medium complexion, standing 5'9" to 6' tall, weighing between 160 and 180 pounds.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Police are seeking a suspect accused of stealing a KitchenAid stand mixer from the "Super Pick 'n Save" off of Appleton Avenue in Menomonee Falls.It happened on Dec. 29 around 6 p.m.According to police, the suspect selected the gray mixer, valued at $429, and left without paying or attempting to pay.He arrived and left in a black sedan, but surveillance cameras weren't able to capture the license plate number.

Police: 'Heavily intoxicated' man enters wrong home, sleeps on dog bed with 150-pound Mastiff

WAUKESHA -- A Waukesha homeowner called police early Tuesday, Jan. 1 after she found a stranger in her house sleeping on her dog's bed in the living room.According to a Waukesha Police Department report, the young man may have entered through an unlocked side door at the home.The report indicates the man was "heavily intoxicated after celebrating New Year's Eve.
