MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police asked for help identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with the theft of a catalytic converter from an employees vehicle at Costco on Pershing Avenue.It happened on Tuesday, June 18 around 3:30 p.m.Police said based on surveillance video and witness information, the man appeared to be driving a late model gold Toyota 4Runner with no front license plates.The man was described as black, standing 6'2" tall, wearing worn/disheveled clothing and a winter cap.Anyone with information was asked to contact Menomonee Falls police.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police asked for help identifying a man accused of stealing more than $500 worth of fragrances at Ulta Beauty.It happened on Friday, June 14 around 1:45 p.m.Police said the man left the store with $592 worth of fragrances that were not paid for -- fleeing in an older white Nissan.The man was described as white, between the ages of 45 and 55, standing 6' to 6'4" tall, weighing 200 to 225 pounds, bald, with a goatee, wearing a black zip-up jacket, blue undershirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.Anyone with information was asked to contact Menomonee Falls police.

'I'm sorry:' New Berlin man accused in death of his wife of 40 years pleads not guilty

NEW BERLIN -- A New Berlin man accused in connection with the death of his wife of 40 years pleaded not guilty Friday, June 7.James Farris, 59, faces one count of first degree intentional homicide, domestic abuse and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, domestic abuse.During Farris' preliminary hearing Friday, a motion to dismiss the case was denied by the court, and two New Berlin Police Department detectives testified.
