MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department on Wednesday, April 15 release its community briefing on a fatal officer-involved shooting that happened near 18th and Greenfield on Monday, Feb. 24.Three officers were involved and were not injured during this incident.According to police, around 1 a.m., officers responded to a shots fired complaint on Union Street in the neighborhood near 18th Street and Greenfield Avenue.

Man charged in random, fatal stabbing in Greenfield committed for mental health treatment
MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- A Greenfield man prosecutors said fatally stabbed an innocent man in a random attack on Aug. 27 was ordered committed for mental health treatment after he was found incompetent to proceed in the case against him during a court hearing Friday, Oct. 4.Amando Lang, 19, faces one count of first-degree intentional homicide for the death of Ben Christianson.During Lang's court hearing, he was ruled incompetent based on a doctor's report, and the case against him was suspended.
