23 people cited for underage drinking at Menomonee Falls Mexican restaurant

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police cited 23 people under the age of 21 for possessing/consuming alcohol at a Mexican restaurant in Menomonee Falls early Friday, May 31.Police received a tip through social media that a large underage alcohol party was happening at Su Casa Grande restaurant located on Appleton Avenue.

Police: Man stole purse from North Shore Bank, attempted purchases with stolen cards at Home Depot

BROOKFIELD -- Police need your help identifying a man accused of stealing a purse from North Sore Bank on Bluemound Road near Moorland Road.It happened May 16 just after 1 p.m.Police said the man entered the bank and gained entry to the third floor offices, where he stole the purse containing multiple credit cards.He then went to Home Depot in Waukesha, where he attempted numerous purchases using the stolen credit cards.Police described the man as black, standing 5'6" tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, wearing a bright red shirt and matching bright red shoes.He was caught on camera leaving the bank in a black SUV.Anyone with information was asked to please contact Brookfield police.

Man arrested after witness reported him loading handgun outside Waukesha County facility

WAUKESHA -- A man was arrested Tuesday, May 7 after a witness called 911 to report the man loaded a handgun in a vehicle parked at the Waukesha County Health and Human Services Center.It happened shortly before noon in the visitor parking lot at the facility near Riverview Avenue and Buena Vista Avenue.Officials with the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department said deputies arrived within minutes, and located the man near his vehicle.

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- A 74-year-old Greenfield man accused of sexually assaulting a woman with autism several times while she was at work at the Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin was sentenced to prison Wednesday, May 1.Humberto Paniagua in late February pleaded no contest to one of four felony charges filed against him -- second degree sexual assault of a mentally ill victim.In court on Wednesday, Paniagua was sentenced to serve three years in prison and four years' extended supervision, with credit for four days' time served.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police need your help identifying a man and woman accused of stealing merchandise from the Kohl's store on Appleton Avenue near County Line Road.It happened on Thursday, April 25 just after 9:30 p.m.The man and woman removed Nike and adidas merchandise from the store -- fleeing in a four-door sedan (unknown make, model and license plate number), police said.Police described the woman as black, between the ages of 25 and 40, weighing 180 to 220 pounds with red hair at her shoulders.

1 in custody following police pursuit in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD -- A subject is in custody following a police pursuit in Brookfield early morning Sunday, April 28.According to officials, a City of Brookfield police officer initiated a traffic stop near 124th and Capitol around 2:42 a.m. The suspect vehicle fled eastbound on Capitol at a high rate of speed, resulting in a pursuit that police terminated.
