Sustainable farming for the Hunger Task Force

The Hunger Task Force Farm is a unique source of fresh produce that acts as a lifeline for the community but taking care of the 208 acres is a big task for the non-profit. FOX6's Brian Kramp is in Franklin where sustainable agriculture is practiced on The Farm.

50 years ago The Hunger Task Force was established by a group of concerned community leaders organized to convince the public schools to begin serving school breakfast to reduce childhood hunger. Today, they continue the mission throughout Milwaukee and on their farm in Franklin where FOX6's Brian Kramp is pruning trees to get ready for this season?s crop.
