KENOSHA (WITI) -- Kenosha police are seeking the suspect responsible for a bank robbery at the BMO Harris Bank on 52nd Street.It happened on Friday, May 30th around 3:30 p.m.Police describe the suspect as a white man with a thin build.

Man dies after shooting near Shalom Center in Kenosha...but who shot him?

KENOSHA (WITI) -- FOX6 News has learned a 33-year-old man shot near the Shalom Center in Kenosha on Wednesday afternoon, May 21st has now died.The Shalom Center is located in the 1700 block of 62nd Street.Kenosha police say a 33-year-old man was shot while sitting in a car.It is unknown at this time whether the man shot himself -- or whether he was shot by someone else.Police were conducting interviews with the man, and witnesses in the neighborhood.Neighbors tell FOX6 News they heard one loud "bang," and then saw a man bleeding in the street.Neighbors say the man got right back into the vehicle and drove himself to the hospital.Neighbors say a second man jumped out of the truck and took off running.The shooting incident happened just before 1:30 p.m.Police have not recovered a weapon.The victim in this case was able to drive himself to a hospital for treatment.He later died as a result of injuries suffered.The investigation is ongoing.Kenosha Unified School District tells FOX6 News four schools have been given the "all clear" but were briefly placed on lockdown due to the incident near the Shalom Center.Those schools include: Brass Community School, Frank Elementary School, Kenosha School of Technology, and Lincoln Middle School.

KENOSHA (WITI) -- The Kenosha Police Department is applauding the actions of one of their own, Officer Austin Hancock, after he successfully apprehended a man suspected of robbing a CVS Pharmacy early Friday morning, May 9th.According to officials, the suspect entered a CVS Pharmacy on 22nd Avenue and announced a "stick up." The suspect then smashed a cash register and took money before fleeing the scene.Approximately one hour after the robbery, Officer Hancock observed a male walking who matched the description of the robbery suspect.

Kenosha man arrested, charged in several gas drive-offs

MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) -- Mount Pleasant police say a 26-year-old Kenosha man has been arrested in connection with several gas drive-offs.26-year-old Andrew Jones faces three felonies, and three misdemeanors.Mount Pleasant police say on February 22nd, officers responded to the Kwik Trip on Durand Avenue after a store employee notified police that a vehicle was in their lot by a gas pump that matched the description of a suspect vehicle involved in several gas drive-offs from two Kwik Trip stores.Investigators were looking into two cases involving the Durand Avenue Kwik Trip and three cases involving the Kwik Trip on State Highway 20 and I-94.Police say that when the suspect vehicle arrived at the Durand Avenue Kwik Trip on February 22nd, the store employee did not authorize the pump.

Driver who slammed into school bus in Kenosha doing better

KENOSHA COUNTY (WITI) -- FOX6 News has received an update on a man seriously injured after his vehicle slammed into a school bus on Highway 45 in Kenosha County on Thursday, March 6th.35-year-old Shawn Hudon, from the Village of Paddock Lake was initially taken to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life, and was listed in critical condition in Froedtert's ICU.We have learned Hudon remains in the hospital -- but he is now in stable condition, and could be moved to a regular care hospital room soon.Kenosha County Sheriff's deputies have issued Hudon a traffic citation for inattentive driving.Sheriff's officials say evidence suggests Hudon swerved just prior to impacting the rear of the bus.

Police say woman, man found dead in Kenosha home on Saturday

KENOSHA (WITI) -- Kenosha police confirm a death investigation is taking place in Kenosha, after two people were discovered dead inside a home over the weekend.Police say they are investigating the death of a 55-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man -- who were discovered inside a home in the 5800 block of 52nd Ave in Kenosha on Saturday, January 18th.The manner and cause of death has not been determined in this case.However, police say they are not looking for anyone in connection with the deaths, and they do not believe there is any danger to the public.Autopsies of the man and woman are being conducted Monday, January 20th."I'd like to know what happened, of course.

Kenosha Police Dept. issues warning about Facebook scam

KENOSHA (WITI) -- The Kenosha Police Department issued a warning on Monday, January 20th regarding a Facebook scam.According to police, some Kenosha-area residents have reported receiving messages from their known "Facebook friends" asking if they have a Chase Bank account.According to authorities, if the person replies that they do have a Chase Bank account, their Facebook friend will then ask for their account number -- claiming they can get "grant money" deposited into their account.Officials say a person then calls the victim, claiming to be a part of the grant deal, and requests PIN numbers and the location of their bank.The Kenosha Police Department is advising residents to NEVER give out personal information via Facebook.

Kenosha Co. officials investigate fatal crash at I-94 & Hwy. 50

KENOSHA (WITI) -- Kenosha County Sheriff's officials say one person was killed in a crash that occurred on Wednesday afternoon, January 15th at the I-94 SB/Highway 50 interchange.Sheriff's officials say it appears the crash occurred on the new ramp where it intersects with 71st Street.This is the new route that runs parallel to and was built north of Highway 50 to alleviate traffic off of the Highway 50/I-94 intersection.FOX6 News spoke with a witness who estimates the vehicle involved was traveling at around 100 miles-per-hour before it reportedly struck a pole.Craig Judd says he and five co-workers had finished their work on a digital billboard when they witnessed the crash."All of a sudden, I heard a crash.
