Cary Docter
Cary was hired in February 1991 as a part-time, weekend assignment editor at then-TV6 – while in his last semester at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After a roughly ten-month crash course in broadcast journalism as an assignment editor and later a video editor, Cary was promoted to newscast producer.
Cary produced newscasts – from the first version of FOX6 WakeUp and the FOX6 Weekend WakeUp News through to the 10 p.m. news – and worked with some of the talent in southeast Wisconsin.
In 2006, an opportunity to lead a new digital team for FOX6 arose. Cary has been the leader of that team ever since.

The Wisconsin Economic Corporation announced that ten community organizations supporting small businesses across Wisconsin have received $1.5 million in Small Business Development Grants from WEDC.
