Woman arrested for OWI after driving vehicle onto Pewaukee Lake

PEWAUKEE --  A woman was taken into custody for an OWI after driving her vehicle onto Pewaukee Lake from a boat launch.The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to Rocky Point Road in the city of Pewaukee early Monday morning after a nearby homeowner reported a vehicle had broken through the ice and was partially submerged in Pewaukee Lake.Once Waukesha police arrived on scene they verified that there were no other occupants in the vehicle.
