Arson fire in Kenosha: Two men quickly arrested and charged
KENOSHA COUNTY -- Two Kenosha men are facing charges in connection with an arson fire that destroyed a barn and left a home with significant damage early on Thursday morning, February 18th.Firefighters were called out to the scene shortly before 5:00 a.m.The fire occurred at a home/barn in the 19400 block of 38th Street/County Highway N in Kenosha County.A passerby reported a large wooden barn fully engulfed in flames.An unoccupied home on the property was also determined to be on fire once firefighters arrived.The barn was a total loss.The house had significant damage to the basement and was determined to have been unoccupied for the past several years.Investigators learned these fires appeared to have been intentionally set.Two suspects were developed partially based on an item left at the scene of the fire.The suspects were arrested the following day -- on February 19th.21-year-old Damien Struble of Kenosha faces the following charges:

KENOSHA COUNTY -- 54-year-old Steven Zelich, a former police officer charged in connection with the death of a 19-year-old woman, pleaded guilty to two charges against him on Monday, January 25th -- the day his trial was set to begin in Kenosha County.Zelich pleaded guilty to one count of first degree reckless homicide as well as one count of hiding a corpse.
