Police seek help to ID suspect in Subway restaurant robbery on Milwaukee's southwest side

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are asking for your help to identify a suspect wanted in an armed robbery at the Subway restaurant near 92nd and Oklahoma on the city's southwest side.The suspect walked into the restaurant just before 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30th.

23-year-old man arrested without incident after shots fired call near Teutonia & Mill

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say a 23-year-old man is in custody on an outstanding warrant in connection with a shots fired call Monday evening, August 1st.Officers on patrol near Teutonia and Mill around 7:30 p.m. heard shots fired, and as the officers moved towards the shots, they saw a man who, upon seeing officers, fled into a nearby factory.For the next couple of hours, police engaged the man in verbal dialog -- working towards a peaceful resolution of this situation.Shortly after midnight on August 2nd, the man was arrested without incident.He was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.The investigation is ongoing.Monitor FOX6 News and FOX6Now.com for updates.

Shooting victim goes to MFD fire station for help: "People understand help is on the other side of that door"

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday night, August 1st near Teutonia and LocustPolice say a 30-year-old Green Bay man was shot around 9:45 p.m. This, after he came to the area to buy drugs and was approached by a male suspect.According to officials, the suspect stole items from the victim and then shot him.The victim went to an MFD Fire Station near Teutonia and Locust and was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries."There was apparently some contact between (his) vehicle and the overhead door --  but it was not substantial enough to take the door out of service," MFD Deputy Chief Aaron Lipski said.

Milwaukee police: 4 people hurt following multi-vehicle crash near S. 70th and Kearney

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee fire officials responded to a multi-car accident near S. 70th and Kearney Street Saturday evening, July 30th.According to officials, at least one car rolled in this crash.Authorities say four people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.No other details have been released.

Police: 32-year-old carjacking victim struck by own vehicle as suspects fled scene

MILWAUKEE -- A 32-year-old man was forced from his vehicle by two suspects, and then struck with it as they fled the scene on Thursday, July 28th.Milwaukee police say the incident took place around 2:40 p.m., near N. 27th and Capitol Drive.According to police, the 32-year-old man was forced from his vehicle by two suspects, who were attempting to steal his car.Authorities say the victim attempted to stop the suspects who then struck the victim with his vehicle as they fled.The 32-year-old man suffered serious injuries and remains hospitalized.Police say the victim's vehicle has since been located, but no arrests have been made.Milwaukee police continue to seek suspects.No other details have been released.
