Man shot, wounded after argument near 20th and Stark

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred near 20th and Stark on the city's north side on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 20.The victim,  a 28-year-old Milwaukee man, suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds after an argument that started in a residence.The victim is being treated at a hospital.Milwaukee police are seeking a known suspect.

Police: 1 arrested, 1 taken to hospital after crash following pursuit

MILWAUKEE -- One person was arrested and another taken to the hospital after a pursuit ended in a crash near 32nd and Lisbon.It happened shortly before 1 p.m., when police spotted a reckless driver, and a pursuit ensued.Police said the driver attempted to elude officers, and collided with another vehicle.It was determined the suspect vehicle was stolen, and the driver was arrested.

Man shot, killed during a confrontation near 53rd and Fairmount, no arrests made

Group memorializes 12 pedestrians struck by vehicles, killed in Milwaukee this year

MILWAUKEE -- Twelve pedestrians have died after they were struck by vehicles in 2018, according to the group "MilWALKee Walks," which began placing memorials at deadly intersections in Milwaukee on Tuesday, Sept. 18.The campaign is also an effort to remind drivers about the dangers of speeding, distracted driving and failing to yield to pedestrians in intersections.
