WAUWATOSA -- A disturbance at Mayfair Mall preceded a fatal officer-involved shooting in the parking lot Sunday evening, Feb. 2.Wauwatosa Police Chief Barry Weber said in a media briefing Sunday this began shortly before 6 p.m., when security at the mall reported to police approximately 10 people who were causing a disturbance.Officers responded, and at least one witness indicated one of the people involved in the disturbance was armed with a handgun.Police found a group outside the mall, and at least four people ran when they saw officers.
