BROWN DEER -- Brown Deer police said Thursday, December 29th 21-year-old Kwesen Sanders has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that happened in October near 51st and Dean in Brown Deer.An initial investigation into the shooting, which happened on October 7th, revealed shots were fired from one vehicle to another.Police said there was no victim in this shooting, and that no one was struck by bullets.Sanders faces two counts of possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony (habitual criminality repeater) and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping (habitual criminality repeater) in connection with the Brown Deer shooting.

MILWAUKEE -- 27-year-old Devon Kraemer, a Brown Deer police officer charged in connection with a shooting that happened in March, pleaded not guilty to charges against her in court on Monday, November 28th.Kraemer is charged with one felony count of aggravated battery, intentionally causing great bodily harm, use of a dangerous weapon -- stemming from the shooting that happened on March 14th.Kraemer and a fellow Brown Deer police officer were called out to the area near 60th and Donna for an unruly passenger on a Milwaukee County Transit System bus.
