Kenosha police respond to Reuther HS to investigate report of student with firearm

KENOSHA -- Kenosha Police responded to Reuther High School on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 20 for a report of a student with a firearm.The school resource officer notified authorities of a student potentially in possession of a firearm shortly before 3 p.m. In response, police coordinated a response that quickly located the student who was taken into custody without incident.A facsimile firearm was recovered from the student's backpack.

Kenosha County deputies saved 2-day old infant who was unconscious, not breathing

KENOSHA COUNTY -- Deputies with the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department saved the life of a 2-day-old baby found unresponsive in a Paddock Lake apartment.It happened Sunday evening, Feb. 9, around 6 p.m. on 236th Avenue near 66th Street in Paddock Lake.Deputies arrived and found the child unconscious, not breathing, and turning blue.According to a news release from the sheriff's office, Deputy Micheal Colaluca was able to perform first aid on the infant, including back blows and chest thrusts, which resulted in the infant resuming breathing.

Kenosha police: Man sought in robbery of BMO Harris Bank on 52nd Street

Boil water advisory issued for Paddock Lake after water line ruptured during extreme cold
