RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police are asking for your help in solving at least three recent robberies connected to Craigslist.They all happened in early March.The suspect, a 5'8" to 5'10" black man is said to be in his early to mid-20s.

Illinois kidnapping suspect, victim located by Racine police
RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police officers on Sunday, March 2nd assisted the Highland Park, Illinois police in locating a kidnapping victim, and arresting the suspect.Racine police on Sunday received information on a 30-year-old female who was believed to have been taken against her will with force by her abusive ex-boyfriend.Highland Park police had information the victim and suspect may be in the area of 6th and Wisconsin in Racine.Racine police were advised that the suspect in this case had previously made threats to kill the victim and throw her into a lake.Racine police officers responded to the area and located the suspect and victim on the top level of the McMynn parking ramp at 120 7th Street.Police say the suspect in this case exited his vehicle and actively resisted officers' attempts to place him under arrest.A K9 officer responded to the scene and assisted with this arrest.The victim in this case was located safe and unharmed.The suspect was treated for a dog bite and was taken to the Racine County Jail.
Racine man faces six counts of possession of child porn
RACINE (WITI) -- 44-year-old Kent Sargent of Racine faces six felony charges of possession of child pornography in Racine County.According to the criminal complaint, an investigator with the Racine County Sheriff's Department was conducting an investigation into the sharing of child pornography files in late January.During the investigation, the complaint indicates files depicting children in sexual acts were linked to an IP address which belonged to Sargent.

Two Racine men arrested following pursuit, crash
RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police say two Racine men were arrested following a pursuit on Thursday, December 12th.Police say officers initiated a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Mound Avenue due to the odor of THC emitting from the vehicle and traffic violations observed by the officers.Police say the suspect vehicle initially pulled over, but as officers approached on foot, the vehicle fled.Officers then initiated a vehicle pursuit lasting a few blocks, which was later terminated.Police say the offending vehicle continued through the neighborhood after officers stopped pursuing.A short time later, officers discovered a three-vehicle crash on Kinzie near Graham.Officers learned the suspect vehicle fled through the neighborhood and returned to Kinzie Avenue, where it headed westbound, crossed the center line and struck another vehicle being operated by a 48-year-old Racine woman.Police say the suspect vehicle then struck a tree.The vehicle struck by the suspect vehicle struck another vehicle, operated by a 22-year-old Racine woman.Both suspects exited the offending vehicle, and police say the passenger, 24-year-old Thadeus Reed of Racine fled on foot and was captured in a nearby home.Police say the driver, 20-year-old Alberto Galvan attempted to flee the scene by stealing the 22-year-old victim's vehicle, but was taken into custody by police.The 48-year-old woman received life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital and later flown to Froedtert.Galvan and Reed were seriously injured.

Racine police search for driver who crashed SUV into home
RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police are searching for the driver of an SUV following a crash near Wolff and Erie in Racine Wednesday night, December 4th.According to officials, a black SUV rammed into the home around 10:00 p.m.Neighbors tell FOX6 News that a 92-year-old woman who lives inside the home was only a room away from taking the brunt of the impact.The 92-year-old woman apparently told the driver to call 911 -- that's when the driver fled the scene.Racine police say they are searching for a known suspect.The cause of the crash is unknown.
