TOWN OF LYONS -- A mother's plea for help for her suicidal son, ended with him dead at the hands of deputies, after authorities say the man lunged at them with a knife.22-year-old John Brown died at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center shortly after being shot at the home he shared with his mother on Meadow Lane in the town of Lyons.Deputies say shorty after midnight Saturday, May 5th, they received a 911 call from Brown's mother, asking for help.
One dead, another seriously hurt in Walworth Co. collision
DARIEN -- 55-year-old Howard Klewin of Delavan was killed in a head-on collision at Highway 14 near County Highway M in the Town of Darien on Monday evening, April 2nd.Investigators say it appears as though Klewin crossed the center line westbound on Highway 14 around 6:30 p.m. He then drifted into the eastbound lane and struck the second vehicle head-on.Klewin died on the scene.
School bus rolls over in the Town of Walworth
