Sheriff: Woman cited for 6th OWI after indicating she 'ran out of gas' on I-94

MILWAUKEE -- A woman was cited for her sixth OWI offense after she was found walking on I-94 in the Zoo Interchange early Sunday, July 7.Officials with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office responded to a disabled vehicle around 12:30 a.m., after the driver, identified by MCSO as Andrea Phillips, was spotted walking on I-94 eastbound, west of the 84th Street off-ramp.MCSO officials said Phillips said she ran out of gas, and she exhibited signs of impairment.

Caught on camera: Hit-and-run driver struck parked vehicles in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood

MILWAUKEE -- A hit-and-run crash that happened Friday night, July 5 in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood was caught on camera.The video showed the driver of a pickup truck slamming the vehicle into parked cars near North Avenue and Bremen Street.At one point, the back end of the truck went airborne -- just before the crash happened.The driver then backed the vehicle up and fled the scene.The person who recorded the vehicle said the truck appeared to be a Toyota T-100.Milwaukee police confirmed this was a hit-and-run, and said they were seeking the unknown driver.

Barista reportedly asks Arizona police officers to leave Starbucks after making customer ‘feel uncomfortable’

TEMPE, Ariz. — A Starbucks barista allegedly asked a group of Arizona police officers to leave the establishment because they were “making a customer feel uncomfortable.”The incident occurred at a Tempe Starbucks location July 4, KNXV reports.Six officers had reportedly paid for their drinks and were standing together inside the coffee shop when the barista approached them.He then told the group that they were making another customer uncomfortable and needed to either move out of the customer’s sight or leave.The officers chose to leave the establishment.The Tempe Officers Association released a statement to KNXV, stating they are aware this isn’t a nationwide Starbucks policy:
