There was a funeral taking place at Serenity Funeral Home when the shooting happened, according to police.

The crash happened on Sept. 15 near Green Bay Road and Hampton Avenue.

Police say a 20-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and wounded near 26th and Auer on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 27.

Prosecutors say the Glendale man admitted to firing shots into a vehicle after a crash described by a witness as minor, killing the 16-year-old passenger.

Police said the shooter was riding a bicycle and was involved in "an altercation" with the victim shortly before 8 p.m.

The medical examiner identified the victim as Jason Cleereman, 54. His sister said he and his wife were headed home when the argument happened on the Holton Street Bridge. 

No arrests have been made.

Police said the boy suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Arzel Ivery's plea in the deaths of Jerica Banks, Camaria Banks and Zaniya Ivery was withdrawn and a jury trial was scheduled for February 2021.

Milwaukee police arrested a driver who they say had been driving recklessly and fled officers.

The 23-year-old and 20-year-old were arrested a short time after the shooting, police said, noting a gun was recovered.
