Waukesha police: Man threatens he'll "shoot clerks" during attempted robbery at Walgreens

WAUKESHA -- A man in his 30s was arrested after Waukesha police say he entered a Walgreens store and demanded Oxycodone pills otherwise he'd "shoot clerks."The incident happened at the Walgreens located at 230 Madison Street on Monday, August 28th around 7:30 p.m.Waukesha police say a white man in his 30s handed an employee who works in the pharmacy a note demanding Oxycodone pills otherwise he'd "shoot clerks." The suspect then showed the employee and object which resembled a handgun.Officials say the man was given a small amount of Oxycodone pills and he took off on foot.Authorities responded to the scene and began searching the area with the assistance of the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit.

Menomonee Falls police seek suspects after break-in at Verizon store

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police are investigating a burglary that occurred early Thursday morning, August 24th at the Verizon store on Silver Spring Drive, near Pilgrim Road.According to police, initial information indicates the suspects gained entry to the store by force around 2:30 a.m. , and that several electronic devices were stolen and/or damaged.The details of this incident are currently being gathered, and the Menomonee Falls Police Department is working with other area law enforcement departments to determine if this burglary may be related to others that have occurred in the area.Monitor FOX6 News and FOX6Now.com for updates on this developing story.

Waukesha County: 43-year-old man arrested on 5th OWI charge following crash on I-94

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- The Wisconsin State Patrol arrested a 43-year-old man for operating a motor vehicle under the influence -- his fifth offense -- after he crashed into a median wall on Saturday, August 19th.The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on I-94 eastbound near Elm Grove Road in Waukesha County.According to the state patrol, the driver was the only occupant of the vehicle.

Firefighters respond to structure fire in Waukesha; no one injured

Update: Brookfield police identify Boston Store theft suspect

BROOKFIELD -- Brookfield police have identified a suspect who allegedly stole over $300 worth of merchandise from the Boston Store at Brookfield Square Mall.Police say the around 5:55 p.m. Thursday, August 10th, a white female in her late 20s to early 30s, entered the Boston Store and selected $327.41 worth of merchandise and left without paying.The woman was seen on surveillance wearing a black tank top, pink shorts, black sandals and sunglasses on top of her head at the time of the theft.PHOTO GALLERYFriday night, August 11th police say they have identified the suspect and are thanking the public for their help.

Waukesha County sheriff's deputy suffered minor injuries when his squad crashed
