GERMANTOWN -- Five Germantown High School students were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, November 3rd.It happened at approximately 7:10 a.m. at the intersection of Mequon Road and River Lane.According to police, the five students were traveling in a vehicle that was making a left turn from eastbound Mequon Road onto northbound River Lane when the driver turned in front of another vehicle.The second vehicle involved, which contained three Germantown High School students, was making a right turn from westbound Mequon Road onto northbound River Lane when the collision occurred.

GERMANTOWN -- The Germantown Fire Department along with Germantown police were dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover accident on I-41 northbound, north of Mequon Road, Sunday night, October 18th.Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle had rolled over but was upright, with heavy damage to the roof, driver's side and passenger's side of the vehicle.Officials say two people were trapped inside the vehicle and the fuel tank was leaking gasoline.Germantown firefighters use hydraulic rescue tools to cut the roof off the vehicle and removed both the front and rear doors of the car.

Suspect in custody after domestic violence incident, three pursuits, standoff in Germantown
GERMANTOWN -- Germantown police say a suspect is in custody following a domestic violence incident Monday morning, September 7th, three separate subsequent pursuits, and a standoff situation Tuesday morning in Germantown.This all began around 9:00 a.m. Monday -- when police investigated a domestic violence incident, Police say it is believed multiple domestic violence related charges were committed (both misdemeanor and felony charges).The suspect wasn't home at the time of this investigation.Around 1:15 p.m. Monday, a Germantown police officer observed the suspect in this case driving near his home.The officer attempted to stop the suspect -- but police say the suspect fled.The ensuing pursuit was terminated in Menomonee Falls because the suspect was known to law enforcement officials and the traffic conditions and danger outweighed the need to continue the pursuit.Police later learned the vehicle the suspect was driving had been reported stolen to Glendale police.Seven hours later, around 8:30 p.m. Monday, a citizen reported seeing the stolen vehicle being driven by the suspect -- circling the suspect's home.Police again tried to stop the vehicle -- but the suspect fled.This pursuit was terminated in Milwaukee.On Tuesday morning, around 7:00 a.m., a Germantown police officer spotted the suspect and the same stolen vehicle.
