South Milwaukee man arrested twice for drunk driving within 4 hours

WEST BEND -- A 26-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested twice in four hours for drunk driving Thursday night, January 4th.At around 5:45 p.m., West Bend police said an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near the area of Barton Avenue and Main Street.

WEST BEND -- A Washington County volunteer firefighter won't face any criminal charges after crashing his truck into a bar.It happened on December 3rd in West Bend.47-year-old Bradley Enright was cited for OWI, first offense, but the owners of Rally Time, the bar that was struck, have opted not to press charges.Enright was arrested after police say he drove his truck into a transformer and then struck the bar, knocking out power to hundreds and shutting down a lights festival.

"Forcibly removed money:" Suspect wearing ski mask robs West Bend gas station

WEST BEND -- West Bend police are investigating a strong armed robbery that happened Monday night, October 23rd at a Mad Max convenience store -- located on Main Street near Paradise Drive.According to police, a male suspect wearing a ski mask entered the store around 9:50 p.m.  and forcibly removed money.The suspect fled the store on foot.There were no customers in the store and the employee was not injured during the incident.The suspect is described as a male, 5’ 11”, 150 to 160 pounds, thin build, wearing a ski mask and dark clothing.Anyone with any information should call the West Bend Police Department at (262) 335-5000.

West Bend police recover 2017 Dodge Charger stolen from dealership showroom

WEST BEND -- West Bend police have recovered a Dodge Charger that was stolen from the Russ Darrow Dodge dealership on WEst Washington Street in West Bend.It happened early on Thursday, October 19th, between 3:20 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.Police said forced entry was made to the dealership, and the yellow 2017 four-door Charger with no license plates was taken from the showroom floor.Officials say the vehicle was recovered undamaged on Friday, October 20th on Milwaukee's northwest side.The department is continuing to work on identifying the suspects responsible for the burglary and theft.

WEST BEND/MILWAUKEE -- West Bend police said Thursday, July 20th a wanted, convicted carjacker, accused of striking again just after his release from custody, has been arrested.Rakeem Woodley was found Thursday morning, hiding in a relative's home near 12th and Greenfield in Milwaukee.Police said around 11:15 a.m., a Milwaukee police officer located a 2008 Infiniti G35, stolen from a 75-year-old woman in a Piggly Wiggly parking lot on Washington Street near Stockhausen Lane in West Bend on July 18th, around 7:30 a.m. Woodley was found about an hour later, in the area.West Bend police responded and took custody of the vehicle and suspect.Police said the victim's vehicle was not damaged, and will be returned to the 75-year-old woman after it's processed for evidence.Woodley was arrested for strong armed robbery and operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent.

 WEST BEND -- West Bend police said Monday, July 10th a body was discovered amid the search for a missing man.Police said around 12:15 p.m., the body of a deceased man was found in the area near Schoenhaar Drive and Annie Place -- where Ryan Morrison's vehicle was found.He was reported missing on Saturday, July 8th.West Bend investigators believe the body is that of Morrison.

While investigating theft of knives from Walmart, police find 100 in Cedarburg man's car

WEST BEND -- West Bend police on Sunday, June 18th arrested a man accused of stealing knives from Walmart, and police say they recovered 100 knives from his vehicle.According to police, around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, Walmart Loss Prevention officials called police to report a suspect in the store who had cut open several packages of knives, concealing them in his clothing.The 26-year-old Cedarburg man was located in the parking lot, and when officers patted him down, they recovered 18 knives, heroin and prescription medication he didn't have a valid prescription for.Officers found an additional 100 knives in the man’s vehicle -- all of them stolen from Walmart.The man was arrested for retail theft, possession of heroin and possession of prescription medication without a valid prescription.

WEST BEND -- West Bend police on Memorial Day arrested a man for his fifth OWI offense, and they say his teenage son blew into his ignition interlock device for him.According to police, shortly before 10:00 p.m., the man's vehicle was stopped for speeding on Greentree Road near Primrose Lane.
