"Closely examine all bills:" Police warn of counterfeit $100 bills being passed in Sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN -- Police are warning folks about counterfeit $100 bills being passed in Sheboygan.Police say these bills look authentic, however they have some pink Chinese symbols printed on them.Officials say subjects have approached citizens and asked for change with the bill folded, so that the victim cannot see the pink symbols.Police are warning residents to be aware and to closely examine all bills, especially large bills.

SHEBOYGAN --  Sheboygan police are searching for two suspects following a shooting on Wednesday, August 16th.Police responded to the area of 19th Street and Indiana Avenue around 5:45 p.m. for reports of a shooting.Upon arrival, officers determined that a 25-year-old man had received a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg during a physical altercation with two other male subjects.The victim received treatment at a local hospital.Police have identified the two suspects in this incident and are attempting to locate them.Authorities say the suspects and victim are known to each other.The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Sheboygan police at 920-459-3333.

OOSTBURG -- Officials with the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office are investigating after two people were found shot to death inside a home in Oostburg Sunday, July 30th.According to a news release, two males were found dead as a result of gunshot wounds inside a home near 10th and Wisconsin Avenue in Oostburg.

Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office investigate Oostburg State Bank robbery

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY -- Sheboygan County officials are investigating after the Oostburg State Bank was robbed by two suspects Wednesday morning, July 26th.The robbery happened around 9:50 a.m. at the Oostburg State Bank located at 905 Center Avenue.According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office, the suspects included one black male and one Hispanic male, both looked to be in their twenties.

2 men hurt, 1 seriously in rollover crash on State Highway 57 in Sheboygan County

TOWN OF SHERMAN -- Two men were hurt, one seriously, in a crash on State Highway 57, south of County Highway D in the Town of Sherman in Sheboygan County Sunday, July 9th.It happened shortly before noon.According to sheriff's officials, a southbound vehicle lost control and exited the roadway, striking a traffic sign and utility pole.
