WAUWATOSA (WITI) -- Tim Viik of British Columbia, Canada, in town for the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration, says he and his wife had several belongings stolen from their Radisson hotel room in Wauwatosa.Viik and his wife were celebrating at Maier Festival Park on Thursday afternoon, August 29th, when someone went into their room without permission and took many important items."The first thing we noticed was all the new stuff that we bought the day before that we had laid out on the extra queen bed was missing," said Viik.In addition to several souvenir items that had been purchased earlier, someone had stolen the couple's leather riding jackets, expensive jewelry, credit cards, passports, phone and camera chargers, and a laptop.The hotel's general manager told FOX6, "we want all of our guests to be safe in our hotel.

WAUWATOSA (WITI) -- Bicyclists lined the streets of Wauwatosa Sunday morning, June 30th during the first-ever East Tosa Gran Prix.The race marked the end of the 11-day "Tour of America's Dairyland" cycling event, which involves communities throughout Wisconsin.Race Coordinator Ed Haydin said the event featured five different levels of competition, explaining that it involved a course measuring .6 miles, which professional riders navigated roughly 90 times in 90 minutes.Haydin said he hopes the event in Wauwatosa was just the first of many to come."As this becomes successful, we’re gonna keep it here.
