One dead following three-vehicle crash in Wauwatosa

WAUWATOSA (WITI) -- Wauwatosa police, fire and EMS responded to a  three-vehicle crash near N. Mayfair Road and W. Center Street Thursday, August 28th. One person died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

According to officials, the initial investigation found that a motorist traveling southbound drove into the path of a northbound vehicle while turning left at the intersection of N. Mayfair Road and W. Center Street.

Following the collision, both vehicles struck a third vehicle that was stopped for a red light.

All three drivers sustained minor injuries. However, just before 6 p.m. Thursday night, an 88-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
