KENOSHA -- Kenosha police say a 23-year-old man had to be taken to Froedtert Hospital via Flight for Life after a crash on Monday afternoon, July 20th.It happened near 79th and Sheridan Road shortly before 2:30 p.m.Police say the driver of one vehicle failed to yield at a stop sign and his vehicle was struck by another vehicle as he tried to clear the intersection.The driver of the striking vehicle suffered minor injuries.The investigation into this incident is underway.

41-year-old man arrested in Kenosha, over $9K worth of heroin, other drugs seized as search warrant executed

KENOSHA (WITI) -- Kenosha County Sheriff's officials say a 41-year-old man was arrested and a significant amount of drugs were recovered as a "no knock" search warrant was executed early Tuesday morning, May 19th.Just before 5:00 a.m., the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department's Tactical Response Team executed the no knock search warrant on behalf of the Kenosha Drug Operations Group with assistance from the Kenosha Police Department's Gang Crimes Unit, Kenosha police officers, Racine County Drug Task Force members and Kenosha Sheriff's Department K9 officers.A 41-year-old man and a woman were inside the home.The man was arrested, and the woman was released at the scene.Authorities recovered the following:
