Account Executive   (OTT/CTV/Digital Media)

FOX6 Milwaukee is looking for an experienced advertising salesperson to develop and manage business for the FOX6 team, selling multi-screen sponsorships, digital advertising, and OTT/CTV streaming television on the FLX platform. 

FOX6 Milwaukee, one of the strongest FOX stations in the country, is a leading local news organization backed by the powerful scale and resources of FOX that includes the OTT/CTV streaming platform FLX (FOX Local Exchange).  FLX has 150+ high-quality content partners and preferred/direct access to FOX-owned streaming networks. Responsibilities

Prospect for business in the Milwaukee market and Wisconsin. You will have the resources to help businesses communicate in all of their service areas statewide and beyond.

Develop strong relationships with local ad agencies and direct accounts, using a consultative sales approach and consistently displaying extraordinary customer service. 

Present customized and well-researched advertising plans and solutions. You will have a full suite of advertising solutions including FLX OTT streaming and exclusive direct access to FOX Sports streaming inventory: NFL/Green Bay Packers, MLB/Milwaukee Brewers, Big Ten/Wisconsin Badgers and more.  

Consistently commit to learning and researching in a rapidly evolving business.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is and highly competitive, with have 2-3 years of successful experience in the digital media industry. Digital Video Advertising and/or Digital Agency/Digital Publisher experience preferred.  College degree and IAB certification preferred.  Familiarity with basic digital media technology.  Excellent presentation skills. Excellent communication skills. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Account Executive

FOX6 is seeking an experienced and energetic media salesperson with the primary responsibility of growing advertising revenue with existing accounts and through new business development on all FOX6 properties.  You will have a full suite of integrated advertising solutions and a supportive staff. You will build relationships with customers and prospects by displaying excellent customer service and a client-centric approach.

Responsibilities

  • FOX6 has significant advertising opportunity on multiple platforms. It is the role of the Account Executive to listen, prepare, present and close business with consultative approach.
  • Identify and present integrated marketing solutions to variety of local businesses in a variety of fields – retailers, healthcare, grocers, automotive, home improvement, financial, entertainment, home services, legal and more.
  • Prospect for new accounts – make cold/warm calls to secure needs analysis meetings and peak businesses interest with all the exciting programs and products we have to offer
  • Research accounts and the marketplace on a consistent basis.
  • Work with variety of internal departments -- Creative Services on commercial production, Traffic department on advertising copy traffic, Finance department on invoicing, discrepancies, collection issues, and sales support personnel who will assist with the fulfillment of your TV and digital campaigns.

Reporter

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for guiding news coverage on digital and broadcast platforms during your assigned shift.  You will work closely with news managers to create compelling content.  You will handle ENG and news crew deployment and coordinate live crew assignments. Because we are a multiple platform news operation with a heavy emphasis on our digital platforms, you must know how to use social media, the internet and other emerging technologies to generate news stories and news contacts. You must have the skills to post content and assign resources to a digital platform. This position assists the news producers with story research.  You will answer news department phones, support state and national network news partners with information, video and scripts.  You will monitor police and fire scanners and e-mail for potential news stories.  Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Must have a Journalism or communication degree or related experience. Previous assignment desk or associate producer experience preferred. Applicant must have excellent news judgment and understand how to use current news gathering tools for both broadcast and digital platforms.  Must be organized and be able to prioritize assignments to maximize staff output. Sales Assistant

Responsibilities

You will support a sales team including local account executives, digital sales and sales managers by creating sales presentations that will knock the socks off the competition.  You will be responsible for entering sales orders so you must be detail oriented because we have a lot of sales!  You will assist sales management with prospecting, sales analysis, and competitive tracking so you need to be creative and always thinking of ways to enhance our product.  You will also have the opportunity to coordinate sales efforts and work with the Engineering and Creative Services team to ensure our clients are always top of mind.  You will be hands-on with sales projects, contesting and promotions so you must have a positive attitude!

Qualifications

Staff Accountant

WITI FOX6 is searching for an outgoing performer to work with the FOX6 Finance team.  This position will work hand in hand with multiple departments while specializing in assisting the Finance Director to prepare and coordinate timely and accurate reporting in accordance with company policies, government regulations and GAAP for WITI Television. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Finance Director
  • Update and create excel spreadsheets using advanced formulas
  • Completion and review of journal entries in connection with the month-end, quarter-end and fiscal year financial close process
  • Assist in the preparation of account reconciliations and monthly corporate reporting
  • Responsible for maintaining records of the station’s fixed assets
  • Assist on special projects, analyses and presentations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Finance or Accounting degree preferred
  • Strong organizational skills are required
  • Must be able to work under time constraints and manage deadlines
  • Requires strict standards of confidentiality and good judgment through proven work experience
