Fight breaks out, police called to Milwaukee Hamilton High School

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department responded to Hamilton High School on Tuesday morning, Feb. 20 for a report of a fight.Officers responded to the school shortly after 9 a.m. Officials say the fight has since ended.MPD officers remained on the scene to determine the circumstances of what happened.At least one student was seen being escorted from the building by police.

Prosecutors: Child left home alone started fire that killed baby sister near 28th and Meinecke

MILWAUKEE -- The mother of a baby girl who died after a fire near 28th and Meinecke has now been formally charged. 1-year-old Quamyiia Owens, who just celebrated her first birthday in December, died at the hospital Sunday, Feb. 11 after the fire Saturday, Feb. 10 prosecutors say was sparked by Owens' brother, after three children were left home alone.

Man cut with knife at Dollar Tree store; seriously hurt

Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by vehicle near 68th and Capitol
