MILWAUKEE -- I-94 EB was shut down on Sunday morning, March 6th due to a rollover crash.The crash happened around 10:45 a.m. on I-94 EB near 73rd Street.Milwaukee County Sheriff's officials said the full closure in the Zoo Interchange impacted I-894 NB to I-94 EB, 45 SB to I-94 EB, I-94 EB west of the Zoo heading eastbound off at Highway 100 and back on at Hawley.A person who was inside the vehicle that rolled over was being extricated from the vehicle after the crash.The scene was cleared and lanes were reopened to traffic around 11:40 a.m.

Sheriff's officials seek charges against 24-year-old driver after wrong-way, head-on crash

GREENFIELD -- Milwaukee County Sheriff's officials are seeking charges against a 24-year-old driver accused in a wrong-way, head-on crash on I-894 early Sunday morning, March 6th.Sheriff's officials got a call around 2:30 a.m. regarding a wrong-way driver on I-894 at Greenfield Avenue.The caller indicated the 24-year-old driver from West Allis was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-894.Eventually, officials say the driver crashed head-on into a box truck while heading eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-43 at 92nd Street.The driver's vehicle "bounced off of the box truck" and struck another vehicle.The alleged wrong-way driver was taken to the hospital after she was extracted from the vehicle by officials with the Greenfield Fire Department.

Dump truck incident on westbound I-94 caused delays in Stadium Interchange

MILWAUKEE -- Two lanes were temporarily blocked on westbound I-94 through the Stadium Interchange Monday, February 22nd after a dump truck lost a load of dirt in the center lane.The scene was cleared shortly before 2:30 p.m.The Milwaukee Fire Department was on scene shortly after the incident happened at 9:30 a.m. to flush the roadway to clear the debris.Two of the lanes were blocked for nearly five hours while the cleanup was underway.

Man pronounced dead in Greenfield Park, cause appears to be related to bitter cold

WEST ALLIS -- An investigation is underway after a 60-year-old man died on Sunday morning, February 14th in Greenfield Park -- near 116th Street and Lincoln Avenue in West Allis.Shortly before 8:00 p.m., deputies with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office -- along with the West Allis Fire Department responded to Greenfield Park for a report of an unresponsive man.

Milwaukee County deputy sheriff under federal investigation
