Officer-involved shooting in Brown Deer after "unruly patron" removed from MCTS bus

BROWN DEER -- An officer-involved shooting occurred near 60th and Donna in Brown Deer on Monday, March 14th.It happened just before 5:00 p.m.Brown Deer police say two officers were conducting a traffic enforcement detail near 60th and Wabash when an MCTS bus driver advised of an unruly person on board the bus.As the officers attempted to remove the man from the bus, an altercation ensued.Both officers were injured, and the man was shot.

Three-year-old girl killed in rollover crash in Brown Deer; alcohol, speed likely factors

BROWN DEER -- A rollover crash Thursday night, February 25th in Brown Deer left one child dead and two others injured.A Milwaukee mother is mourning the death of her three-year-old child, identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office as R'moni Little-Smith, while at her other child's side who is hospitalized.FOX6 News spoke with her briefly, and she said it's all just too much to deal with.

Brown Deer police: Wrong-way driver dies after three-vehicle crash on Green Bay Road

BROWN DEER -- Brown Deer police say a wrong-way driver has died after a crash on Friday, February 5th near Green Bay Road and Deerwood Drive.It happened around 8:30 p.m.The deceased has been identified as 59-year-old Charles Washington of Milwaukee.Washington died on February 10th as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.The crash involved three vehicles.It was determined that Washington was driving the wrong way -- headed north on Green Bay Road in the southbound lanes.Two people had to be taken to the hospital after the crash.
