13 hurt in 3 separate crashes involving 10 total vehicles on I-94 near Lake Mills

LAKE MILLS -- Thirteen people were hurt in three separate crashes involving a total of 10 vehicles on I-94 near Lake Mills Saturday, August 5th.It began with a crash around 8:30 a.m. on I-94 westbound near Mile Marker 254.According to WMTV, Jefferson County sheriff's officials and Lake Mills authorities responded to the crash, which involved 13 injuries.

All clear: Crash temporarily shuts down multiple lanes on I-94 at County K in Racine Co.

RACINE COUNTY -- The two left lanes on southbound I-94 were temporarily closed at County K due to a crash Friday morning, August 4th.The left lane on northbound I-94 was also closed due to the crash.Backups in excess of three miles were seen in both directions.The crash scene has since cleared, but it took about two hours for traffic to return to normal.

MKE to HOU: Southwest Airlines adds new non-stop service between Mitchell Airport, Houston

MILWAUKEE -- Southwest Airlines is adding new non-stop service between General Mitchell International Airport and William Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas.“Houston is an important business and leisure market from MKE, and this new nonstop service will allow more travelers to fly to Houston from our hometown airport,” County Executive Chris Abele said in a press release. “These new flights also allow for easy connections to Latin America and the Caribbean via Southwest’s new international gateway at Houston’s Hobby Airport.”According to that release, the new daily non-stop flights begin March 8th and will operate year-round on full-size Boeing 737 jets featuring two free checked bags and no change fees.
