There's progress, but it's slow-going in the effort to get school resource officers in Milwaukee Public Schools. On Friday, Feb. 28, Milwaukee leaders took action to move the process forward. A committee will debate a plan on Monday.

SROs in MKE schools, city held in contempt

Milwaukee County Judge David Borowski on Thursday, Feb. 27 held the City of Milwaukee in contempt for failure to comply with a judge's deadline to require SROs in Milwaukee Public Schools. The judge then stayed that order.
