MILWAUKEE -- An investigation is underway after car batteries were stolen from Autoplex near 51st and Forest Home in Milwaukee.Investigators tell FOX6 News they don't believe the thieves got away with any vehicles -- just car parts.A-43-year old man was arrested for stealing batteries from vehicles and placing them on a private tow truck.

MILWAUKEE -- A 30-year-old woman was arrested for child abuse following a shooting near 49th and Hampton Sunday evening, July 21.According to officials, a physical altercation occurred between two groups of people around 5:40 p.m. During the incident, a 30-year-old woman battered a 13-year-old girl, police said.Shots were fired by an unknown individual, and the 30-year-old woman sustained a minor injury.The woman was transported to a hospital and subsequently arrested for child abuse.Police said the investigation was ongoing and the shooter was being sought.
