City of Milwaukee to work with Medical College of Wisconsin to fight heroin, opiate epidemic

MILWAUKEE -- City of Milwaukee officials and those with the Medical College of Wisconsin will work together to try to fix the city's heroin and opiate epidemic.On Thursday, April 7th, during a meeting of the City of Milwaukee's Public Health Committee, Alderman Michael Murphy announced plans for the partnership.Murphy said the purpose of the partnership is to provide more research for strategies that can be immediately implemented to save lives.

Hackers send anti-Semitic fliers to UWM campus printers

PRINCETON, N.J. — Several colleges across the country are investigating after a rash of anti-Semitic fliers began printing from their network-connected printers or fax machines.The fliers began appearing Thursday at schools including New Jersey's Princeton University, Rhode Island's Brown University, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.The director of the New England office of the Anti-Defamation League says a white power group appears to have hacked into school printers.

Admirals will likely move from BMO Harris Bradley Center to UWM Panther Arena
