Wauwatosa police chase tied to Kenosha attempted homicide investigation

Wauwatosa police arrested two people on Thursday after a chase tied to a Kenosha attempted homicide investigation.

What we know:

It started around 3 p.m. Wauwatosa police spotted a suspect vehicle wanted in connection to that investigation and tried to stop it on Capitol Drive, but the driver took off.

Officers used a tire deflation device to end the chase, but the driver and a passenger got out and ran. They were both taken into custody after officers ran after them. 

No injuries were reported.

The Milwaukee Police Department confirmed it assisted Wauwatosa police near 49th and Villard. FOX6 News at the scene saw squads from both jurisdictions and obtained home surveillance video showed squads circling the area.

What we don't know:

Police did not release additional information about the suspects, including what if any charges they could face.
