Milwaukee teen shot, killed on north side

A Milwaukee boy was shot and killed on the city's north side Tuesday night, July 25. It adds to a troubling trend: Gun violence continues to hurt and kill children.

Seven Milwaukee shootings Tuesday, July 25 left two people dead and five wounded.

One person was arrested in connection to one of the seven shootings – and police are looking for others.

Washington Park

It started around 3 a.m., when 22-year-old Naquon Henry was fatally shot in Washington Park. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a 20-year-old Milwaukee man.

33rd and Center

A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed near 33rd and Center around 5:30 p.m. He has since been identified as Raul Rios.

26th and Kilbourn

Also around 5:30 p.m., police said a 33-year-old man showed up at a hospital for treatment after being shot. This shooting appears to have been related to a robbery, police said.

58th and Center

A 14-year-old girl was shot around 8:23 p.m. What led to the shooting isn't yet known, but Milwaukee Police said they are looking for a known suspect. 

Sherman Park

Around 9 p.m., another 16-year-old boy was shot. According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, there was a disagreement between a group of people before the shooting happened.

71st and Mill

A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and wounded around 9:30 p.m. Police said it appears to be related to a driving confrontation. 

47th and Olive Way

Around 9:45 p.m., an 18-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to a hospital. It appears to be related to a neighborhood dispute, police said.

MPD investigates

Police are looking for whoever is responsible for several of Tuesday's shootings.
