MILWAUKEE — The National Weather Service (NWS) is collecting data from the winter storm that hit southeast Wisconsin Saturday, Feb. 10 through Sunday, Feb. 11.

5 killed in 650 crashes on snow-covered Missouri roads; 70-car pileup on Iowa interstate

ROLLA, Mo. — Five people died and dozens were injured in more than 650 crashes on snow-covered Missouri roads, and authorities said up to 50 vehicles collided on a freeway in Iowa.The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crashes started Sunday afternoon as snow began falling.

Over 100 salt trucks deployed Monday morning to tackle snowy conditions

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Department of Public Works is geared up to handle the snow expected to affect southern Wisconsin Monday, December 11th.The DPW says they have deployed 103 salt trucks to handle the main and  side streets.The FOX6 Weather Experts say there will be two rounds of snow Monday -- one in the early to middle morning hours, and the second this afternoon.According to the FOX6 Weather Experts, an area of snow will move in from west to east between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. -- bringing messy travel conditions for the morning commute.

Another warm winter forecast for swath of US

WASHINGTON — Much of the U.S. should expect another warm winter, but not quite as toasty as the last two years, forecasters said.The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on Thursday forecast a warmer winter from California through the Midwest to Maine.
