40-year-old man found dead on sidewalk in Sheboygan

Six-year-old girl falls 10 feet from window in Sheboygan Co.

Police arrest individuals with warrants near Sheboygan school

SHEBOYGAN (WITI) -- Sheboygan police say they were able to locate individuals with warrants for their arrest on Tuesday, June 11th near Longfellow Middle School.A patrol officer observed a vehicle near the school, and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle when the suspects fled from the car.Police determined at least one of the individuals was a known gang member and may have been armed with a handgun.A "school carnival" was taking place at the school, and school officials cleared the children, parents and staff from the playground and secured them inside the school.Within 30 minutes, police officers and detectives had arrested numerous parties involved and the school officials were notified when police supervision believed there was no longer a threat to the school and children.

Sheboygan Co. Sheriff's officials investigating double fatal crash

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY (WITI) -- Sheboygan County Sheriff's officials are investigating a double fatal accident on Highway 32 in northern Sheboygan County.The crash occurred just before 4:00 p.m. and was a head on crash involving two vehicles -- a 1999 Lincoln Town Car and a 2000 Buick LeSabre.Officials say 79-year-old Robert Bock from Brillion was headed northbound on State Highway 32, a half-mile north of Franklin Road in the Lincoln Town Car. 70-year-old Dennis Lange of Sheboygan was headed southbound in the LeSabre.Bock was uninjured, and Lange was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.71-year-old Margaret Lange and 52-year-old Barbara Killey were killed in the crash.

Two arrested for allegedly passing counterfeit bills

SHEBOYGAN (WITI) -- Two people are in custody in Sheboygan County for allegedly passing counterfeit bills.Officials say on Friday evening, March 22nd, officers were dispatched to the Sheboygan Memorial Mall for a report of a woman passing suspected counterfeit money at Hobby Lobby.The female suspect apparently fled the store and left in a vehicle that was later stopped by police.Officers arrested an 18-year-old woman from Oak Creek and a 28-year-old man from Milwaukee.

Officials investigating bomb threat at Cedar Grove-Belgium H.S.

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY (WITI) -- Sheboygan County Sheriff's officials say a bomb threat was made to Cedar Grove-Belgium High School in Sheboygan County Wednesday evening, March 6th.School officials deemed the threat credible enough that they notified the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, who in turn asked for assistance from the Milwaukee Sheriff’s Office’s bomb squad.The bomb squad searched the school and found no trace or signs of any explosive device, and no one was hurt.The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office received the call about the bomb threat occurred at 2:43 p.m.  After school activities still took place as planned.The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office plans to have extra patrols and officers at the high school Thursday morning as students arrive for classes.There is no word on whether they have identified a suspect in the bomb threat.
