Deputy uses Narcan to revive driver who was stopped near 118th and Hampton

MILWAUKEE -- A driver was arrested for OWI  and possession of drug paraphernalia after a deputy had to use Narcan to revive him on 118th Street near Hampton Avenue Thursday, Sept. 12.According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, around 3:15 p.m. a deputy was stopped behind a vehicle facing north on 118th Street.

31-year-old woman shot in stomach near 52nd and Locust

MILWAUKEE -- The second of two Milwaukee men accused in connection with a triple shooting that left two people dead after prosecutors said the suspects and victims planned to rob a marijuana dealer together was convicted Wednesday, Sept. 11.Kevon Barnes, 19, entered the plea to an amended charge -- second degree reckless homicide, as party to a crime -- during his jury trial.

Multi-vehicle wreck temporarily shuts down lanes of NB I-43 at Highland Avenue

MILWAUKEE -- The four right lanes of northbound I-43 were temporarily blocked at Highland Avenue because of a traffic incident involving three vehicles.The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) says emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene -- and indicates there were no life-threatening injuries.The scene was fully cleared shortly after 2 p.m.

Semi believed to be carrying Styrofoam insulation stuck under I-94 overpass

MILWAUKEE -- A truck driver got stuck under the I-94 westbound overpass Thursday afternoon, Sept. 12.A FOX6 News crew on scene said the truck was headed southbound on General Mitchell Boulevard.The truck appeared to be carrying Styrofoam insulation.Our crew on scene saw a Wisconsin Department of Transportation vehicle on scene -- possibly so officials could examine the overpass bridge to determine whether there was any damage.According to our crew, the truck driver tried backing out from under the overpass, but the truck wouldn't budge.Officials were working to free the truck.
