Police arrest two young men found sleeping in vehicle stolen from Germantown

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say a call for a "subject with a gun" led to the arrest of two young men found asleep in a stolen vehicle.Police on Tuesday, July 5th around 5:30 a.m. were called out to the area near 76th and Good Hope Road -- where they found a 19-year-old man and a 15-year-old man asleep in a vehicle that had been stolen from Germantown.Both young men were arrested and could face charges of operating a vehicle without the owner's consent.No firearm was found in the vehicle.This case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the coming days for charges.

One in custody, one sought after robbery at North Shore Bank in Wauwatosa; subsequent chase

WAUWATOSA -- Wauwatosa police say one person is in custody and one person is being sought after a bank robbery and subsequent chase on Wednesday morning, June 29th.Police say this all began with the bank robbery at the North Shore Bank located near 85th and North.Two suspects, with their faces concealed, presented a gun and got away with an undisclosed amount of money shortly before 9:30 a.m.Police were able to make contact with the suspect vehicle at 49th and Congress, with help from Milwaukee police, and one person was taken into custody.

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police need your help identifying a suspect accused of pointing a gun at a man at an ATM near Mason and Milwaukee Street in downtown Milwaukee.It happened early on Tuesday morning, June 28th -- shortly before 1:00 a.m.Police say the victim was at the ATM when the suspect approached -- pointing a black handgun at him before fleeing the scene on foot.The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-to-late 20s.
