MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office has released its reports following a fatal fire that happened on Friday, February 12th near 36th and Becher.The deceased has been identified as 80-year-old Carol Olson.

Fire at Maynard Steel Company near 27th & KK River Parkway quickly extinguished

MILWAUKEE -- Officials with the Milwaukee Fire Department tell FOX6 News no one was hurt in a fire at the Maynard Steel Company -- located near the intersection of S. 27th Street and Kinnickinnic River Parkway in Milwaukee.The call for this fire came in around 3:15 p.m. The fire was brought under control within about 20 minutes.The fire occurred in a storage area for molds for casings.Workers in the general area of the storage area were evacuated due to smoke concerns.Plant personnel were able to douse the fire with handheld chemical extinguishers, and the fire was smoldering with firefighters arrived.The cause of the fire is under investigation.Damage is estimated at $20,000 for materials inside the building.
