
Andrew Amouzou
Andrew Amouzou (pronounced uh-MOO-zoo) joins the FOX6 News team as a reporter, excited to return to Milwaukee — the city where his journalism journey began.
Andrew most recently worked at the NBC affiliate in Green Bay (NBC26), where he covered a wide range of stories including Green Bay Packers coverage, NFL Draft reporting, court cases, crime, and exclusive community-driven features on local businesses.
In 2024, Andrew was named one of Wisconsin’s Top 40 Most Influential Black Leaders, recognizing both his journalistic work and his commitment to uplifting voices in the community.
A proud Marquette University graduate, Andrew held several leadership roles at the Marquette Wire, including MUTV Station Manager and Executive Director. He also served as the main anchor for a student sportscast that earned top honors from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Chicago/Midwest Emmy Chapter.
During college, Andrew co-founded the Advancement & Guidance for Journalists of Color (AGJC), a focus group designed to help students of color build networking connections in the journalism world.
He also received a number of accolades, including recognition from the Milwaukee Press Club and the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, which awarded him the 2023 Student Leadership Award.
Now reporting on weekdays and weekends in Milwaukee, Andrew is thrilled to be telling stories in the city that helped shape his path.
Outside the newsroom, Andrew enjoys trying new recipes, working out at the gym, discovering new music, and attending community events.
