Milwaukee fatal hit-and-run, pedestrian struck on Brady Street

A Milwaukee man, 32, was taken to the hospital in grave condition after he was hurt in a hit-and-run crash near Brady and Franklin Place Sunday night, Sept. 11. He later died from his injuries. 

Police are looking for the driver who hit the man. Police said he was in the street when he was struck.

It was the second fatal hit-and-run in Milwaukee in as many days. 

On Saturday around 1:30 a.m., Tasha Davis, 36, was hit on W. Fond du Lac Avenue just west of 60th Street. She did not survive.

On Sunday night, shortly before midnight, an alarming sound cut through the heavy rain near Brady and Franklin.

"I was chilling upstairs with my friends, playing a game," said a neighbor. "We just heard a thud and somebody screaming outside."

Neighbors said they can't understand why someone would just take off. They said incidents like this on Brady Street are becoming far too common.
