Air Quality Alert in place until Noon today and possibly beyond as thick wildfire smoke continues to impact our area. A cooler day today as a back door cold front passes through in the mid day. Highs will be near 70 inland and near 60 lakeside. With the strong N/NE wind, the water will be choppy and a Beach Hazards Statement is in place from Milwaukee to Kenosha. We stay dry through the next several days and warm well into the 80s this weekend and into next week.

A cloudy start as yesterday's low finally winds down and exits to the east. Some hazy sun this afternoon as wildfire smoke returns to the area. After a very wet day on Tuesday, we dry up for a long stretch again starting today with only a very slight chance of showers through early next week. Highs will warm to the upper 70s inland today and low 70s lakeside. After a slight dip tomorrow, we warm steadily in the long range with 80s returning for the weekend. Conditions will be cooler lakeside each day.

A few morning showers as a low to our east spins over the Great Lakes for the day. A steady light rain is possible this afternoon. Highs will be chilly and mostly in the low 60s. We warm up to the low to mid 70 for Wednesday and Thursday. Most of Wednesday will be dry but showers and thunderstorms are possible overnight and into Thursday morning. The weekend will be seasonally warm but with a chance for showers both days.

We start out sunny but a low to our east will spin back our way with a few showers this afternoon and evening. A chilly start but warming up a bit this afternoon with highs in the low 70s. Another cooler day with a chance for showers and a slight chance for thunderstorms on Tuesday. We warm into the upper 70s through the rest of the week. We should be dry again Wednesday through Friday with a chance for showers returning this weekend.

Gradual clearing of clouds tonight. Breezy northerly winds usher in cooler temps in the 40s by Monday morning. Sunshine will start off the day on Monday with a few clouds increasing during the afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Scattered light rain enters again Monday afternoon and evening. Rain could persist through Tuesday before exiting with a cut-off low. More seasonable temps this week in the 70s especially by mid-late week.
