WAUKESHA COUNTY (WITI) -- Snow was falling across southeastern Wisconsin on Monday afternoon and evening -- and was beginning to accumulate during the evening commute on Monday.FOX6's Jenna Sachs was stationed along I-94 in Waukesha County on Monday evening -- monitoring the conditions.Law enforcement officials in Waukesha County responded to 23 property damage accidents, one minor personal injury accident, two unknown cause accidents and 13 vehicles in the ditch -- from 4:00 p.m. until 7:20 p.m.Early Monday evening, the State Patrol reported no major incidents on the roadways -- but they were ready to handle whatever popped up."We're geared up for the worst, but we're hoping for the best.

WAUKESHA (WITI) -- The City of Waukesha Police Department has initiated an investigation into a Waukesha County Sheriff's deputy after a complaint received by the agency involving one of the Lieutenants.The City of Waukesha has asked the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation (D.C.I.) to assist with the investigation.The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department is also in the process of conducting an internal review, independent of D.C.I.The Lieutenant has not been arrested or charged and is currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.Monitor FOX6 News and FOX6Now.com for more information on this developing story.

GENESEE (WITI) -- The Stalbaum family gathered with investigators outside a Genesee home on Saturday, November 9th to thank the people of southeastern Wisconsin for their concern and prayers while 15-year-old Kathryn was missing.Authorities, along with the family, are still working to piece together the entire incident."We need to give Kathryn, the family and the detectives the time to process the events of the last four days," said Eric Severson of the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. "We were overwhelmed by the amount of love the community demonstrated during this time.

BROOKFIELD (WITI) -- Brookfield police are looking into two possible cases of child enticement, and now, a Brookfield family says their daughter may have been targeted on Monday, October 14th.The first incident was reported last Thursday evening, and a second incident was reported on Saturday morning."Just because you think it's a safe neighborhood doesn't mean it's necessarily safe," one parent told FOX6 News."To have children stalked -- that's the worst kind of human being out there," Kathy Albers said.Now that the third possible incident has been reported, parents are on edge."Now it has someone scaring kids, scaring parents, scaring families, scaring grandparents," Albers said.A woman who asked to remain anonymous told FOX6 News that on Monday, her daughter was playing in the front yard when an older man driving a white van slowed down."When my daughter came into view he slowed down -- like literally slowed down really quickly," the girl's mother told FOX6 News.The van then parked across the street.

WAUKESHA (WITI) -- A fundraiser for the arts in Waukesha is creating a bit of controversy, and it all centers around yellow rubber duckies.Volunteers thought it was a good idea, and worked long and hard on it over the summer.This Saturday, October 5th the West End Arts Association was going to launch hundreds of rubber ducks and race them in the Fox River to raise money for charity -- until they found out doing so may be illegal.The group planned to use rock and roll themed rubber duckies.
